Back by popular demand! Spring has sprung and so will your belt! We will be seated in the main dining room of the restaurant just like last year. Lumberjack attire optional should nearby older ladies once again ask us if we are in a lumberjack group! Two package options and same pricing as last year! To those new to the event, we had 40+ HUNGRY attendees last year! Bring your HUGE appetite!

Option 1: Full table-side Churrasco (MEAT) experience, access to the Market Table (salad bar), traditional Brazilian side dishes, a selection of desserts, AND fountain beverages/coffee/tea for $99.95 ALL-IN (tax and gratuity are INCLUDED).

Option 2 (Age 21+ Only): All items in Option 1, PLUS BOTTLED sodas/water, lemonade, and TWO hours of hosted, Top-shelf Premium Bar including cocktails, imported and domestic beers, and upgraded wines: $179.50 (tax and gratuity are INCLUDED).

We will meet inside the lobby at 6:45 PM for the 7:00 PM reservation.

Wait staff will be instructed to NOT add any add-ons to the event bill, including alcoholic beverages. If you elect to drink AND do not elect package #2, you MUST settle your own tab separately!

Unofficial after-party (not associated with this event) at Bike Stop immediately following, likely around 9:30 PM. Those attending this event or who are otherwise unable to attend are welcome to join us!

Given the likely size of the group (pun intended), please RSVP (including remitting payment) NO LATER than SATURDAY, MARCH 15, 2025. I cannot make any guarantees on reservations requested or remitted after March 15th. Also, those able to remit payment sooner would be much appreciated to help the restaurant get a more accurate headcount well ahead of our LARGE arrival.

Please only RSVP if you are certain that you will attend. All RSVPs should be considered final. I will attempt in good faith to honor any cancellation requests through March 15, but I cannot guarantee refunds requested after this date. Also, if you do not show up to the event for any reason, you will not be refunded.

Please note well the following rules for Grommoffs:

1. Respect others’ personal space

Gatherings can be exciting--and it can be easy to feel comfortable with people you’ve just met. But make sure you always ask before encroaching on someone’s personal space if you don’t know them and stop if someone asks you to stop. Don’t make assumptions and ask for consent and you’ll be fine.

2. No room for racism, misogyny, ableism, homophobia or transphobia

We hope this rule goes without saying, but there is absolutely no room for racist, misogynistic, homophobic or transphobic views at any Grokio Community Gathering. Period.

3. Respect the discretion of the group in public

Oftentimes, gatherings are held in public places (restaurants, parks, beaches, bowling alleys, etc.) and there will be other people nearby. Be aware that loud voices travel—if you’re talking about sensitive or potentially embarrassing topics, use your inside voice. Similarly, a public place is not appropriate for intimacy or sexualized touching. Even if the other person is comfortable with it, respect that you’re with a group in a public place and hold off until you have more privacy.

4. Illegal drug/alcohol use is not allowed

The use of drugs that are illegal in the local jurisdiction before or during a Grokio Community Gathering is strictly forbidden, as is the consumption of alcohol by those under the legal age in the local jurisdiction.

5. Guests from outside the community are only allowed with prior approval

We know that attending a GrommOff, Feabie Meet or Ferzu Event for the first time can be scary, but bringing along a friend from outside the community for support can make others feel uncomfortable and force them to edit themselves the way they do in the real world (the goal of our gatherings is to let everyone stop editing!) If you absolutely must bring a friend from outside the community and you are confident they will know how to behave appropriately, you must clear it with the organizer BEFORE the event. Any portion of a gathering occurring in a bar or pub is excepted from this rule.
