England ![]() The next in the series of Greater Manchester Grommoffs for May targeting the areas of Greater Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, and Sheffield, but welcome to all.
It's that time of year again and were planning the usual trips to the buffets of Manchester during the Bear Bash with a twist.
Please Note: there is an RSVP/booking by the 25th of April on a few parts as well as ticket purchases for others so please let me know what you will be at so I know who's coming :) this also adds you to the reminders list.
Due to the nature of the Bear Bash some dates/times may change but I'll keep you up to date with whats going on as we get closer to May but so far:

The Plan - the idea of what will happen over the 2 days
FRIDAY the 1st of May
8pm Food and Drinks in the village Go to VIA Fossa M1 3EZ as they have 2 for 1 dessert and drinks but a good place to just hang out. Website: http://www.viamanchester.co.uk/Menus.aspx
SATURDAY the 2nd of May

6pm Pool Party transportation meeting at the Eagle don't be late. Patch will be host the pool party aspect in my absence.
6:30pm till 8pm Pool Party At Moss Side Leisure Centre Pool (part of GBBB18) with transportation is £10 w/o is £7. SUNDAY the 3rd of May 11am Pigout
12noon Buffet We are looking into going to Buffet City. Please RSVP with me by the 25th of April so we can get a table booked. Free Drink at the REM for the one who consumes the most plates as well as their meal and drink paid for. £8.95 adult though Student discount available. The change in venue is for the location is closer to the pig out picnic and carvery as well as Red Hot World Buffet raised their prices to £13.99 on a Sunday. NOTICE: Staying in Manchester: There is a Manchester United Match on the 2nd of May (which I will be working) so booking hotel rooms early would be good.

Travel:
By Car: For car parks Sackville Street and Manchester Palace are fairly close though need pre-booking otherwise Manchester Major Street is not far. By Bus: Piccadilly Gardens is the main bus terminus for routes to manchester city centre and is not too far away from the Village. The Coach Station is even closer.
By Tram: For Trams Piccadilly Station and Piccadilly Gardens stops are the closest to Sackville
By Train: For Trains Piccadilly is near to Sackcille and Oxford Road is not far away as well.
Free Shuttle system runs on Saturday 8am to 7pm every 10 minutes (green 2/purple 3) and every 6 minutes (orange 1) and on Sunday 10am to 6pm every 10 minutes (orange 1/green 2) and purple 3 does not run. The system connects the 4 train stations of Manchester.
