Travel:
See Free Shuttle Map for Points of Interest, Car Parks, Train Stations, Bus Interchanges, and Tram Stops as updated on the 28th of June.
By Car: For car parks Great Northern is fairly cheap (with validation) with plenty of room.
By City Bus: Piccadilly Gardens is the main bus terminus for routes to manchester city centre and is not too far away from the Great Northern building. However, the Free Shuttle bus 1(orange) will take you straight to great northern See photo.
By Intercity Bus: Shudehill near Victoria train station and Central Coach Station near the village are the 2 major Coach bus stations Megabus uses Shudehill and is fairly cheap while National Express uses Central Coach Station. Both have nearby Free shuttle links see photo.
By Tram: For Travel the Deansgate-Castlefield Tram stop is the best for Great Northern and currently is where routes from coming into the city stop as the second city crossing closes the first city crossing.
By Train: For Trains Deansgate is near to Great Northern though All train stations in Manchester are linked via the free shuttle bus service and all have stops near great northern. See photo.
Free Shuttle system runs on Saturday 8am to 7:30pm every 10 minutes (green 2) and every 8 minutes (orange 1) and connects the 4 train stations of Manchester and 2 Bus exchanges as well as providing a link between the 2 ends of the city crossing.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask me/Fatsohugebig as he knows most of the transportation system around Manchester or where to look. |
